COSTA RICA
Costa Rica is a small, yet remarkably influential country in Central America, bordered by Nicaragua to the north, Panama to the south, the Caribbean Sea to the east, and the Pacific Ocean to the west.
Internationally acclaimed for its extraordinary natural beauty, Costa Rica is equally recognized for its enduring social stability, peaceful governance, and commitment to human development.
The country has upheld a democratic political system for over a century, with active participation from both women and men in national leadership and decision-making. Notably, Costa Rica abolished its army in 1949, choosing instead to invest in its people.
Today, the country allocates approximately 6% of its Gross Domestic Product (GDP) to education and healthcare - among the highest in Latin America.
Its Political Constitution guarantees free and compulsory primary education, reflecting a national commitment to equal opportunity.
Nearly 100% of school-age children are enrolled in primary education, and around 80% continue into secondary education; forming the foundation of a literate, skilled, and civically engaged population.
This is significantly higher than many other Central American countries, where secondary education enrollment often doesn't exceed 30%.

Costa Rica is globally recognized for its rich biodiversity, with the highest species density per square kilometer in the world. Its diverse flora and fauna, along with scenic landscapes, make it a unique ecological gem.
Thanks to its geographical location, Costa Rica enjoys a tropical climate with distinct dry and rainy seasons. The dry season lasts from December to April, while the rainy season extends from May to November.
Costa Rica boasts a high standard of healthcare, ranking #1 in Latin America for health services, according to the World Health Organization.
The official language spoken in Costa Rica is Spanish, although most tourism industry employees and many locals also speak English.

THE NICOYA PENINSULA
Nicoya is a thriving region in Costa Rica - home to several natural parks and a biological corridor.
Located within one of the world’s renowned 'Blue Zones,' this area provides an uninterrupted natural corridor between habitats, allowing species to move freely.
The northern Pacific coast of the Nicoya Peninsula is a haven for biodiversity, offering an incredible variety of ecosystems—from tropical dry forests to mangroves and coastal waters. It’s an ideal destination for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts.
Keep your eyes open for howler monkeys, coatis, sloths, parrots, and a colorful array of bird species.
Along the shoreline and beyond, you may encounter marine turtles, iguanas, dolphins, marlins, and the graceful manta ray—just a few of the extraordinary creatures that call this region home.
A Sunset View Over The Nicoya Peninsula

The region's waters are popular for activities such as scuba diving, sport fishing, kayaking, boating, and surfing. With an average temperature of 29°C year-round, it offers a perfect climate for outdoor adventures.
Nicoya is one of the world’s ‘Blue Zone’ regions, where people tend to live longer. The five recognized 'Blue Zones' worldwide are:
Okinawa, Japan.
Ikaria, Greece.
Loma Linda, California, USA.
Sardinia, Italy.
Nicoya, Costa Rica.
People in Blue Zones—regions where residents commonly live well into their 90s and beyond—are believed to enjoy longer, healthier lives thanks to strong family bonds, a nutrient-rich diet, natural daily movement, and a deep respect for elders and community.
Tambor Beach

A Region on the Rise
Towns like Santa Teresa and Malpaís—just a short drive from our property—are rapidly gaining international popularity.
As demand surges, land in these areas has become increasingly scarce and expensive, making new opportunities difficult to secure.
Located less than an hour from the bohemian beach town of Montezuma, the Tambor Springs property offers rare access to the beauty and potential of the Nicoya Peninsula—without the overcrowding or overpricing found in nearby hotspots.

Region on the Brink of Transformation
The landscape around Tambor is changing rapidly. Burkhan World Investment and Stone Alliance have committed approximately $1 billion to a large-scale sustainable development project that’s set to reshape the area.
At the heart of this initiative is the planned construction of a 300-slip marina adjacent to the Tambor Bay hotels, complete with a yacht club, residential zones, and commercial spaces. The project has also attracted major global interest—Marriott International has signed on as a hospitality partner, bringing its flagship hotel brands to the region.
As a result, property values are rising, particularly in neighborhoods near the future marina. With this level of investment and international attention, price per square meter is expected to climb sharply in the coming years.

Meanwhile, the neighboring towns of Santa Teresa and Malpaís—already highly sought-after—are nearly sold out, with limited land availability and soaring prices.
Further north, demand continues to exceed supply.
For those seeking long-term value and a meaningful connection to Costa Rica’s future, Tambor offers a rare window of opportunity—but that window is closing fast.
In Cobano, just minutes away, a newly developed airport is accelerating growth and attracting buyers, driving property values higher across the entire region. With prime land being quickly acquired, Tambor Springs stands out as one of the last accessible opportunities to invest in this rapidly appreciating area.

TAMBOR
Nestled at the southern tip of Costa Rica’s Nicoya Peninsula, Tambor is a peaceful beach village known for its natural beauty and tranquil way of life. It’s the perfect retreat for those seeking to step away from the noise of the modern world and reconnect with a slower, more intentional rhythm.
Once a traditional fishing village, Tambor has gracefully evolved into a low-key tourist haven, thanks to a handful of thoughtfully developed resorts and its warm, welcoming community.
The village is home to a mix of seasonal travelers and year-round expats who share a deep appreciation for its calm, grounded energy.
At the heart of Tambor lies its breathtaking horseshoe-shaped beach, where calm waters invite you to swim, snorkel, or simply float beneath the sun.
The skies above are alive with vibrant scarlet macaws, and the shoreline becomes a sanctuary for migrating sea turtles—reminders that nature is not just nearby, but part of daily life.

THE TAMBOR SPRINGS PROPERTY
The property spans approximately 300 hectares and is accessed via a 10-minute drive from sea level up into the hills overlooking Tambor Bay. It is located directly above the largest resort hotel in the area.
This lush, elevated land, offers sweeping Pacific ocean views and a serene natural setting—presenting a rare investment opportunity in a rapidly appreciating region.
It is perfectly suited for an eco-wellness retreat, healing sanctuary, or nature-based hospitality project and exclusive, low-density development in harmony with the surrounding ecosystem.

Stepping onto the property feels like entering a lost world—an untouched landscape of rolling pastures, lush valleys, and undisturbed primary and secondary forests. This thriving ecosystem supports an exceptional density of wildlife and plant life.
A comprehensive natural resource inventory has documented approximately 140 species of birds and 40 species of butterflies, along with countless varieties of native flora.
The forest is also home to a diverse range of mammals, including armadillos, porcupines, margays, monkeys, coatis, anteaters, sloths, deer, and even the elusive puma. It’s a rare and vibrant sanctuary—teeming with life, yet deeply peaceful.

Overlooking the Bay from the Tambor Springs Property
Mammals such as the Virginia Opossum, Northern Tamandua, White-faced Capuchin Monkey, and Mantled Howler Monkey all find refuge within the park’s boundaries.
The park is also home to a rich diversity of bird species, including the magnificent Frigatebird, Bare-Throated Tiger Heron, and Great Curassow, among many others.

These arboreal species play a crucial role in supporting the park's ecosystem and enhancing its biodiversity.
The park, a central feature of the project, will be accessible to residents and visitors, offering nature walks, birdwatching, educational tours, and a chance to reconnect with nature.
This will enhance the appeal of the residential properties and eco-lodge retreats - setting the project apart from conventional real estate investments in Costa Rica.

A Natural Sanctuary with Lasting Value
The property is rich in natural features, including a stunning 150-meter waterfall—especially breathtaking during the rainy season—as well as a network of streams, brooks, and freshwater springs that bring the landscape to life year-round.
At the heart of this land lies something truly unique: a 90-hectare natural wildlife park—a defining element that sets this property apart from conventional real estate investments.
This protected area reflects our deep commitment to preserving the ecological richness of this region of Costa Rica.
More than just a conservation zone, the wildlife park is central to our vision for a sustainable eco-development—one that respects the land, supports biodiversity, and minimizes environmental impact.
As the demand for ethical and regenerative projects continues to grow, this model offers investors the chance to participate in a meaningful venture with long-term value; an increasingly important feature in today’s investment landscape.

a stunning 150-meter waterfall
The park serves as a sanctuary for over 140 bird species and 40 species of butterflies, alongside countless other native species of flora and fauna.
It is not only a refuge for wildlife, but also a living testament to what responsible development can look like in harmony with nature.
It allows investors to contribute to a project that respects and values the environment, with potential for significant returns.
Nestled inside the core of this land is the wildlife park - a living symbol of our commitment to ecological preservation. It provides a uniqueness and authenticity to the Blue Zone Tambor Springs project, which is situated within the officially designated Nicoya Peninsula Protected Area (World Database on Protected Areas, December 2024 – protectedplanet.net).
Together, the property's exceptional biodiversity, protected status, and natural beauty make it an ideal canvas for a sustainable eco-development—one that seamlessly blends respect for the environment with modern comfort and regenerative design in one of the world’s most inspiring settings.
This unique natural setting significantly enhances the value and appeal of both residential properties and eco-lodge retreats; offering a distinctive advantage over conventional real estate investments in Costa Rica.

OUR OBJECTIVES
Phase 1: Legal Structuring & Value Enhancement
Our immediate objective is to increase the property’s market value by completing the titling of the remaining land parcels.
In addition, 64 hectares of already titled land will be formally integrated into the overall property package later this year.
The titling process, projected to take approximately 12 months, is expected to significantly elevate the asset’s value—potentially quadrupling its current market price.
All legal matters are being handled by Attorney Lic. Carlos Tames Gonzales, based in San José, Costa Rica.
Contact: ctames@ctgasesores.com | +506 8425 2125
In parallel, we are working with Dr. Edmundo Castro Jiménez and Attorney Roberto Cordero, both recognized experts in:
Carbon neutrality certification
Environmental valuation
GHG verification and sustainable land development
Their leadership will ensure the project meets international environmental and investment standards, while unlocking new revenue potential through carbon credit programs and eco-certification.
The property is owned and managed by Blue Zone Tambor Springs S.A., a Costa Rican corporation with four shareholders—two based in Costa Rica and two in the United Kingdom.
Phase 2: Development Opportunities
As part of our long-term vision, we are currently exploring development potential across four key areas, including:
1) A select area for luxurious, high-end residences
Constructed on elevated terrain overlooking Tambor Bay and the Pacific Ocean - each residence will be designed with cutting-edge, eco tecnology.
Each home will be thoughtfully placed on a private 1,000 - 5,000 square meter plot, ensuring privacy, exclusivity, and panoramic views.
This zone is designed for discerning buyers seeking an immersive, nature-connected lifestyle—combining modern comfort with low-impact architectural principles.
The setting offers a rare opportunity to own property in one of Costa Rica’s most coveted and fast-appreciating coastal regions, within a certified Blue Zone.

2) Condominium Residences
This area is designated for the development of 2- to 4-bedroom condominium homes, designed to offer comfortable, community-oriented living within the natural surroundings of Tambor Springs.
The residences will be strategically clustered to optimize space and encourage social interaction, while still maintaining privacy and harmony with the landscape.

3) Eco-Lodge Tourism & Wellness Retreats
This zone is reserved for the development of eco-lodges and residential retreat centers; designed to host immersive experiences in wellness, mindfulness, and personal growth.
Programs may include yoga, meditation, holistic healing, dance and personal development courses - all set within the serene natural beauty of Tambor Springs.
4) Regenerative Agriculture & Organic Production Zone
This area is designated for organic cultivation, with a focus on high-value crops such as cacao, coffee, tropical fruits, and medicinal plants.
The goal is to create a model of regenerative agriculture that supports both the local economy and the wellness-focused ethos of the Tambor Springs community.
Significant groundwork has already been completed by a team of environmental and agricultural professionals.
Their meticulous assessments have confirmed the land’s suitability for sustainable agroforestry and eco-tourism integration.
Key foundational work includes:
Topographical mapping with detailed contour lines (curvas de nivel)
Comprehensive geological and soil studies to guide development planning
Evaluation of eco-sanitation systems for effective wastewater and solid waste management
Infrastructure planning for energy, water, and communication systems across residential and recreational zones.
This research has not only confirmed the land’s readiness for responsible development, but also opened the door to a wide range of eco-tourism, agricultural, and educational initiatives that align with global sustainability goals.

Ideal for families, digital nomads, or seasonal residents, this zone provides an accessible entry point into the region’s eco-conscious lifestyle, with potential for rental income and community amenities.

Accommodations will be low-impact and nature-integrated; offering guests a deep sense of connection to the land.
This area aligns with the global rise in transformational travel and positions Tambor Springs as a premier Blue Zone destination for those seeking rest, renewal, and reconnection.

For this current phase, whilst preparing the property for titling, we are seeking either investment or donations for the reasons outlined below:
A Sacred Forest Is Under Threat. You Can Help Us Save It.
Tambor Springs is more than a place—it’s a refuge for endangered wildlife, a home to ancient trees, and a healing space for people from around the world.
But caring for this large natural reserve has become more difficult than ever!
Despite protection laws, illegal hunting is taking a toll on the ecosystem.
In recent months, we’ve discovered impromptu butchering sites deep in the primary forest—evidence of wildlife being taken and butchered without respect or necessity.
Most alarming: the spotted paca, a protected and endangered species in Costa Rica, is being hunted alongside deer and other vulnerable animals.
This is heartbreaking and must be stopped urgently!!!
The land is privately stewarded, not publicly funded. All funding has come out of our own pockets.
Funding will enable us to -
Train and employ forest wardens from the local community
Restore habitats and improve wildlife monitoring
Maintain and protect trail systems
If this opportunity resonates with you and you are interested in learning more, or perhaps joining up with us, please contact us and we can provide you with further details.
Depending on your level of investment you could be rewarded, for example, with your own house plot in the residential area.
Every dollar protects life—animal, human, and the living forest itself.
